EUR 765m - PERILS releases final industry loss footprint for Windstorm Éowyn of January 2025
PERILS has today disclosed its fourth and final industry loss estimate for Windstorm Éowyn which affected the British Isles during 24 and 25 January 2025.
In its final loss report, provided in the form of an industry loss footprint at CRESTA zone resolution, PERILS estimates that the event has cost the insurance industry a total of EUR 765 million. This figure covers the property line of business and is based on detailed loss data collected from affected insurers which are subsequently grossed-up to 100% market (“PERILS CORE”).
