CatIQ and PERILS have today disclosed the third industry loss estimate for the flash flooding event that affected Montreal, Quebec, and the surrounding area between June 20 and 21, 2026.
The third estimate of the insurance market loss is CAD 442 million, with personal property claims making up the majority of the loss.
