AUD 2,943m - PERILS releases third loss estimate for Queensland and New South Wales Severe Convective Storms of late November 2025
PERILS has today disclosed its third industry loss estimate for the severe convective storms which affected South-East Queensland and New South Wales from 21 to 27 November 2025.
In its third loss report, provided in the form of a detailed industry loss footprint, PERILS estimates that the event has cost the insurance industry a total of AUD 2,943 million. This figure is based on loss data collected from affected insurers and covers the property and motor hull lines of business.
