AUD 1,620m - PERILS releases fourth and final loss estimate for Australia East Coast Severe Convective Storms of late October 2025
In its final loss report, provided in the form of an industry loss footprint at post code resolution, PERILS estimates that the event has cost the insurance industry a total of AUD 1,620 million. This figure covers the property and motor hull lines of business and is based on detailed loss data collected from affected insurers which are subsequently grossed-up to 100% market (“PERILS CORE”).
