TRY 117.0bn - PERILS releases fourth industry loss estimate for the Kahramanmaras Earthquake Sequence
PERILS has today disclosed its fourth industry loss estimate for the Kahramanmaras Earthquake Sequence, which affected large parts of south-central Turkey and neighbouring Syria on 6 February 2023.
In its fourth loss report, provided in the form of an industry loss footprint at province resolution, PERILS estimates that the event has cost the insurance industry a total of TRY 117.0bn in property losses.
