PERILS informs about loss reporting for the Extratropical Cyclone Victoria which occurred from 15 to 17 February 2020
Due to the current challenges faced by the industry regarding the Corona Virus pandemic, PERILS has not carried out a 2nd round of data collection for the Extratropical Windstorm Victoria, also known as Dennis, which affected the British Isles and north-western Europe from 15 to 17 February 2020. The majority of insurance losses occurred in the UK, Germany and Belgium. PERILS will issue its next loss estimate for this event by 17 August 2020 with loss data in full resolution, i.e. by CRESTA zones and by property lines of business.
