PERILS informs about loss reporting for the Australian Hailstorms January 2020
Due to the current challenges faced by the industry regarding the Corona Virus pandemic, PERILS has not carried out a 2nd round of data collection for the Australian Hailstorms which occurred from 19 to 21 January 2020 and affected the Australian states of Victoria, New South Wales, Queensland and the Australian Capital Territory. PERILS will issue its next loss estimate for this event by 21 July 2020 with loss data in full resolution, i.e. by postcode (high-resolution CRESTA zones) and by property line of business.
