PERILS has today released its Q1 update of the PERILS EXTENDED industry loss database.

In the latest update, a total of ten Cat events from the past three years were reviewed. The status of following events has changed:

Events with revised loss estimate:

• Hurricane Melissa, Caribbean, Oct 2025
• Myanmar/Thailand M7.7 EQ, Mar 2025

Events with final loss estimate:

• Typhoon No 11 (Yagi), China, Vietnam, Sep 2024
• Dubai Floods, Apr 2024
• Rio Grande do Sul Floods, South America, Apr-May 2024
• Noto Peninsula Mw 7.5 Earthquake, Japan, Jan 2024

Events with loss estimate below reporting threshold:

• Typhoon Senyar and Monsoon Floods, SE-Asia, Nov 2025

Events under investigation:

• Windstorm Kristin and Floods, Portugal, Jan-Feb 2026
