EUR 695m - PERILS releases industry loss footprint for Windstorm Nils of February 2026
PERILS has today disclosed its third industry loss estimate for Windstorm Nils which affected the Nouvelle-Aquitaine and Occitanie regions in southwest France from 11 to 13 February 2026.
In its third loss report, provided in the form of an industry loss footprint at CRESTA zone resolution, PERILS estimates that the event has cost the insurance industry a total of EUR 695 million. This compares to the figure of EUR 586 million issued in the first loss report six weeks after the event, and EUR 767 million issued in the second loss report three months after the event.
