CAD 402m – CatIQ and PERILS release second loss estimate for Ontario and Quebec Ice Storm
CatIQ and PERILS today disclosed their second loss estimate for the ice storm that affected Ontario and Quebec between 28 and 31 March 2025.
The second estimate of the insurance market loss is CAD 402 million. This industry loss figure is based on detailed loss data collected from affected insurers and covers the property and motor line of business.
