PERILS has today disclosed its third industry loss estimate for Windstorm Éowyn which affected the British Isles during 24 and 25 January 2025.
In its third loss report, provided in the form of an industry loss footprint at CRESTA zone resolution, PERILS estimates that the event has cost the insurance industry a total of EUR 747 million. This compares to the figure of EUR 619 million issued in the first loss report six weeks after the event, and EUR 696 million issued in the second loss report three months after the event.
