CatIQ and PERILS have today disclosed the third industry loss estimate for the severe convective storm (SCS) outbreak which affected the Canadian provinces of Saskatchewan and Manitoba on 9 and 10 June 2026.
The third estimate of the insurance market loss is CAD 923 million. Losses were mainly caused by large hail, flash flooding, and strong wind gusts.
