PERILS has today disclosed its second industry loss estimate for the severe convective storms which affected South East Queensland, New South Wales and Victoria with large hail, strong winds and heavy rainfall from 26 October to 1 November 2025.
The second loss estimate, which provides a snapshot of the insurance market loss three months post-event, is AUD 1,512 million. This industry loss figure is based on loss data collected from affected insurers and covers property and motor claims.
